My mummy and daddy took me and my brother with our dog Stanley to Rempstone Steam & Country Show.
We have a great time with the Saxon crosses caravan and camping club which help us all weekend, sorry about my noisy brother lol.
The show was fantastic with all the steam engines which were a little loud for my ears, they were great to see with all the lights on, thank you to the nice lady which kept hold of my dog Stanley. while we all went on the train as a family this was fun even my brother smiled.
Mummy said I have an idea we can go on the rides which I loved but my brother wasn’t to happy been on, but he loved the cars, bikes, busses, trucks and most all the steam engines, then on Sunday mummy said we are going to look at the helicopter, the next thing I knew I was strapped in and the guys from East Midlands Helicopters where making me smile and then mummy was getting in the other door then the engine started. I could then see daddy brother and Stanley the dog waving at us, so I lifted my hand to wave back and then mummy made a noise and we were in the air, oh my this was exciting.

This was our first visit to this steam rally which we stayed all weekend with our caravan club Saxon crosses can’t wait till next year for this rally.
Our daughter Amazing Grace Davenport has a very rare syndrome NAA10 Ogden syndrome and unfortunately it is life limiting! Grace loves anything that gives her a rush not sure who she gets that from so of course when we saw the helicopter 🚁 it had to be done!
Nathan, Callum, Stuart & Ray you did went above and beyond for Grace and Claire!
Claire wanted to do something special for her and Grace due to them having birthdays very soon!! but due to Graces disabilities, we didn’t think we could get her in the sky, but you all proved us wrong and did it in style, we truly cannot thank you enough for their patience care and support, honestly you have given Grace the most amazing experience,
The weekend has made memories for us all thank you; you will agree seeing her wave and smile says it all thank you everyone for an awesome weekend.
